Feast your eyes on the latest greatest Opticons sticker! Klutch took time out from his work ‘outdoors’ and in the studio to meet with Deb from The Pangaea Project and find out more about their work mentoring teens through international service work. People at TPP were already fans of Klutch’s work, so it’s a stellar match. But of course! Thank you Klutch and Pangaea Project for everything you do! Love the sticker. That takes us to print for the first round of artists for non-profits! Wicked!

The old news that is new news here at Electricbaby HQ: Please welcome the birth of our son, Jun Indie Joyce!
No one is as profoundly shaken by new arrivals as the new parents. Suffice it to say that we are happy as pie and delighted with the wonder and awe seen through Jun's eyes.
We now happily return to the work at hand, bringing Opticons round one to print and release! Artwork is in from Tara McPherson for FreeArtsNYC, Adam Haynes for WABus and The Bus Project, Electricbaby for TSB, 179 for Skate Like a Girl, Nick Z for The Food Project and most recently, Klutch for Pangaea Project!
Highly anticipated artwork is on the way – heh – from Andy Howell, Maya Hayuk, Michiko Stehrenberger and Josh McPhee. Everyone's given us the wink, nudge and "it's on the way" as soon as we can, so we are terribly excited to see what turns up!
Look for new posts featuring all Opticons artists and Non-Profits!

Adam Haynes brings gritty NW nature vs nurture artistry to his Opticons sticker in support of Washington Bus. We don’t have the official write up on Adam yet, but suffice it to say that we seriously dig his work! He takes everything we love about living in the NW and makes it even better!
Washington Bus hosts regular bus trips (parties) to get people educated and voting. They support progressive politics and event crash all over Washington state. And…they flipped when they saw Adam’s artwork to support their cause! They’ve got a lot of energy – it was a freak fest. Thanks Adam!

Everyone loves Nick Z! And we love Nick Z for participating in Opticons in support of The Food Project!
Nick Z is a Brooklyn based multimedia artist who combines his interests in childrens fantasy, teen angst, letterforms, skateboarding, music, and food to create images and environments that communicate universal emotion.
The Food Project creates fertile ground for new ideas about youth and adults partnering to create social change through sustainable agriculture. Their goal: sustainable, local food systems that bridge race, class, age, and more to ensure food security for all. Dig in!

Electricbaby releases their Opticons sticker in support of The Service Board! Electricbaby continues the push for art for non-profits on all fronts, with their line of laptop artistry, multi-media installations, production of Opticons and now throwing their hat in the ring as a participating artist in Opticons! TSB is sure to love Opticons latest addition!
The Service Board is a beloved Seattle non-profit that brings kids and adult mentors together for service work, snowboarding and community building. Heartbreakers and superstars. Electricbaby has backed TSB for years as adult mentor, creator of www.theserviceboard.org website, various collateral hook-ups and now via Opticons! Thanks Electricbaby!
